Call for Wet Compound Feed
In the following years, the new insect industry is expected to grow to a billion euro industry. In a highly efficient chain concept, RavenFeed takes care of the rearing process.. An essential link is substrate production. The substrate (larvae feed) has properties closely related to wet compound feed. It consists of 30-40% dry matter and contains a fibre structure as the substrate also functions as habitat for the insects.
Together with the ValuSect consortium RavenFeed invites companies to send in a substrate for testing and analysis. Entomologists and nutritionists will then give advice on how to improve that substrate. The improved substrate will then be tested and analysed again.
